The 53rd annual Flaming Festival will rock Oklahoma City on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club with pop superstar luncheon presenter, Amy Grant, and nearly 40 festively-decorated, themed tabletops by Kappa Alpha Theta alumnae and area merchants. The evening Preview Cocktail Party kicks off the Festival on Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 5:00 p.m.

The Flaming Festival is presented by the Kappa Alpha Theta Oklahoma City Alumnae Chapter. Experiencing creative tabletop displays, eating homemade cookies from the Tea Table, enjoying the renowned luncheon speaker or buying fresh baked goods and appetizers from the Pansy Pantry are a few of the 2009 Festival highlights. Guests are encouraged to take a couple of relaxing hours or make a full day of their experience at the Flaming Festival which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Proceeds from the Flaming Festival benefit the “Food 4 Kids” program through the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and the local Oklahoma County CASA chapter to aid in training and support for volunteers.
